Wine Tasting with Lolo Manso

Lolo Manso is dedicated to bringing one of the most enjoyable Spanish culinary experiences to New York City. At Socarrat Bar de Vinos the wait staff is guided by Nacho the new sommelier in the finer points of new world wines and how they pair with their delightful tapas.

I gauge the authenticity of a flamenco performance by the simplicity of the performers and the setting. Lolo Manso, owner of recently opened Socarrat Bar De Vinos is dedicated to bringing authentic flamenco performance's to the intimate surrounding that is his new wine and tapas establishment. Conja and various other notable flamenco performers will be at this original bar on Sunday's after 6:30 pm performing three sets. I was in attendence on the inaugural night and captured a wonderful series of pictures that give a feel for the intimacy. Performing as well were Pedro Cortes, aruablly the best flamenco guitarist strumming in the United States as well as David Castellano's emotional vocals.

This week I had the good fortune to cover the unveiling of long time Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Dean, David Rudenstein's portrait. After serving as Dean of the law school for the last 9 years his portrait was added to a wall memorializing all the former Dean's of the school.
Brenda Zlamany was commissioned to complete the portrait and she was on hand to help hang it. She spoke to a nearly complete law school faculty. The interiors portfolio building phase continues attracting major attention from wise, value oriented interior designers who know when to spot a good thing when they see it. The Barrymore Theater

Our coverage of the Fidelity + LEAP: Educational Program continued with coverage of NYC participating students visiting The Barrymore Theater to see David Mamet's production of Speed The Plow. After wards the kids got to meet Raul Esparza and Elizabeth Moss as they exited the stage doors. I love food events. I love chocolate events best. There could be nothing better then a chocolate event with properly paired wines and liqueurs. This Valrhona Inc. Product Launch Party New York City was just such an event.

Pierce Allen: East Side Triplex

The interiors portfolio building phase is going very well. 2008 will be closing out with the company having worked with three well established interior designers.
